Dancing with Birds is a landmark cultural tourism project under development in Yaohu Town, Yixing, Jiangsu Province, China. Designed as an immersive open-air eco-theater, it will feature more than 250 birds from France and China, making it the only place outside of France and Spain to present such a rich diversity of species. It will also be China’s first daytime large-scale open-air human–bird interactive performance.

The show will captivate audiences with the grace and power of raptors in flight such as falcons, eagles, owls, and hawks showing their extraordinary abilities in harmony with multimedia staging, natural soundscapes, and theatrical storytelling. Spanning 3.13 hectares in a mountain-surrounded ecological resort and cultural tourism zone, the site will also house a bird breeding center, exhibition halls, and educational facilities, ensuring the attraction is not only a spectacular live experience but also a center for conservation, learning, and cultural exchange.

The project is being developed in partnership with Puy Du Fou, the world-renowned French historical theme park group known for its iconic bird show Le Bal des Oiseaux Fantômes. Today, Puy Du Fou remains the only production company in the world capable of delivering a bird show at this scale.
