On January 15, 2024, the Immersive Angkor team, represented by Geoffroy LADET, CEO of Legendary had the honor of presenting the Immersive Angkor project to the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET, who noted it as a complementary contribution to the tourism industry in the Kingdom.

As part of the Legendary's portfolio, the Immersive Angkor project will be the first of its kind in Cambodia to leverages cutting-edge 3D technology and high-fidelity historical recreations and will offer a range of experiences tailored for a broad audience, developed in collaboration with Angkor’s leading scientific experts. This 1,400 sqm facility is designed to deliver the signature Legendary's immersive entertainment brand's standard of cultural and historical storytelling, blending scientific accuracy with world-class entertainment.

To set a new standard for cultural tourism, Immersive Angkor will be located at the Living Art Pavilion within the Living Art Village. This $5 million project by Artisans Angkor is designed to establish Siem Reap as Southeast Asia’s premier cultural hub. The venue will share a space with Artisans Angkor’s new flagship store, a creative café, a specialized bookstore, the Living Museum, and the Living Art Canvas.

Based in Siem Reap, Artisans Angkor is the leading craft and design Maison dedicated to the preservation and evolution of Khmer craftsmanship. Rooted in ancestral techniques yet driven by design, the house creates exceptional collections in silk, stone and wood carving, lacquerware, and silverwork. More than its network of boutiques, Artisans Angkor is a living arts and craft institution. Through specialized vocational training and sustainable employment, the organization empowers hundreds of artisans to practice, refine, and transmit their skills, ensuring that Cambodia’s artistic heritage remains vibrant and relevant.

The collaboration between Immersive Angkor and Artisans Angkor will make Living Art Village a unique destination that merge both physical and digital artistry that honor the richness of Cambodia’s cultural heritage.
