World-renowned Chinese pianist Lang Lang performed a private concert at the Puy du Fou theme park in Les Epesses, France, on March 25, 2024. The concert was his first performance at this multi-award-winning historical theme park to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France (1964–2024).

Recognized as one of the most influential classical musicians of his generation, Lang Lang performed masterpieces from both China and France including “Jasmine Flower,” “Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake,” “Pavane,” and the “Moonlight Sonata.” In 2023, he was awarded the title of envoy of China-France cultural friendship in recognition of his contribution to strengthening cultural exchanges between the two nations.

The year 2024 marks not only six decades of diplomatic relations between China and France, but also the Franco-Chinese Year of Cultural Tourism. Puy du Fou was honored to host this exceptional concert, reaffirming its role as more than a world-class historical theme park. Through initiatives such as this, Puy du Fou Asia actively contribute to strengthening cultural dialogue between France and China, using art, heritage, and live performance as bridges between civilizations.
