Immersive Angkor Is Now Taking Shape and Set to Open for Q4 2026

On February 23, 2026, the Immersive Angkor project reached a new milestone with its official groundbreaking ceremony. At the heart of Siem Reap, within the Artisans Angkor Living Art Village, the construction of the “Living Art Pavilion”, in which Immersive Angkor will be located, has begun.

This ceremony brought together stakeholders, representatives from the tourism sector, officials, the Artisans Angkor team, as well as members of Immersive Angkor and Confluences. Together, we participated in a religious ceremony to wish success and prosperity for the future building that will soon host Immersive Angkor at its very heart, but also a coffee-restaurant and Artisan Angkor’s shop.

Immersive Experience Rooted in Legendary’s Vision

Built just a few kilometres from the Angkor World Heritage Site, Immersive Angkor proposes a new way to experience the legacies of the Khmer Empire through immersive technologies. During one-hour, visitors will step into a 1,000-square-metre space where 360° projections across four walls and the floor transport them deep into the legends and history of the Empire. Their journey will be unforgettable.

More than a venue, it embodies Legendary Group’s vision to blend culture, digital innovation, and entertainment. With this approach, Immersive Angkor is positioning Cambodia at the forefront of cultural creativity in Southeast Asia.

Participating in the Siem Reap Tourism Revitalization

Immersive Angkor is more than an innovative experience. It is a brand-new cultural offering that places Cambodia at the forefront of cultural innovation. This partnership with Artisans Angkor, blending modern technologies with traditional handicrafts, positions Siem Reap as a rich and complete destination to experience Cambodia.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, Soreasmey KE BIN, CEO of Immersive Angkor, shared the project's vision to revitalize Siem Reap’s tourism through this integrated cultural hub. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, visitor numbers in Siem Reap have declined, yet he remains determined that initiatives like Immersive Angkor can help restore the city’s vitality. “We all aspire to reclaim that energy,” he affirmed, adding: “Together we are writing a new chapter for Siem Reap–Angkor.”

Since the groundbreaking, the construction has progressed steadily. The foundations of the building have been laid, and the structure begins to form. As pillar rises, we are moving closer to the grand opening, set to unfold at the end of the year.
