Legendary Group Executive Director, Anne ZHAO, paid a courtesy visit to Cambodia’s Prime Minister HUN Manet and high-level delegates on July 17, 2026, in Shanghai, where they discussed the latest progress of “Immersive Angkor” project in Siem Reap as well as Legendary Group's broader project pipeline in Cambodia and Southeast Asia.

As part of Legendary's broader vision for the region, Immersive Angkor is taking Cambodia's legacy story, one of the world's greatest, to global audiences through immersive technology and cultural storytelling. It will be Southeast Asia's first immersive heritage experience, giving travelers the story of the Angkorian Empire to complement their temple visits and bring Cambodia's heritage to the world.

This productive exchange reaffirmed the Prime Minister's continued endorsement of the project, as well as Legendary's long-term ambition for the Kingdom's tourism and cultural sectors, starting with Immersive Angkor debuting in the coming months.
